
GIA has appointed Brandon H. Pace, an attorney with over two decades of experience in finance and technology, as its new general counsel. He began his new job in February.
Pace reports to president and CEO Susan Jacques and becomes a member of the GIA executive team. He succeeds Jennifer Wilson, who is retiring after being GIA’s general counsel since 2013.
Before joining GIA, Pace was chief administrative officer, chief legal officer, and corporate secretary at financial technology company LendingClub. Prior to that, he held the post of vice president and deputy general counsel for eBay.
According to his LinkedIn profile, he also serves as planning commissioner for the city of Pleasanton, Calif.
Pace holds a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School and a B.A. in history from Brigham Young University. He is a member of the California and Utah bars.
