Georg Leifheit (pictured), a veteran of Swarovski and PAJ, has rejoined Signet Jewelers as vice president of global strategic sourcing, according to his profile on LinkedIn.
Leifheit previously worked for Signet as vice president of global strategic sourcing—the same title he is taking on now—from October 2013 to January 2016.
He also worked as vice president, product development and innovation for PAJ (Prime Art and Jewel) from August 2016 to June 2019, and then spent two and a half years at Swarovski, eventually becoming its vice president, global product development. He has also worked for James Avery and H. Stern.
Robert Buchbauer, Swarovksi’s CEO since April 2020, stepped down last month. The crystal maker is now looking for a new company head outside its founding family, according to WWD.
