The 2023 Gem Awards have announced nominees in the categories of jewelry design, media excellence, and retail excellence—and JCK contributing editor and All That Glitters blogger Amy Elliott (pictured) is among them.
The winners in these categories will be announced live during Jewelers of America’s annual awards event on Friday, March 17, 2023, in New York City.
The nominees for the Gem Award for Jewelry Design are Ron Anderson and David Rees, Ten Thousand Things, New York City; Anita Ko, Anita Ko, Los Angeles; and Kirsty Stone, Retrouvaí, Toronto.
The nominees for the Gem Award for Media Excellence are JCK contributing editor Amy Elliott; Michelle Graff, editor-in-chief, National Jeweler; and Sarah Royce-Greensill, editor of the “Showcase” section for Vanity Fair On Jewellery.
The nominees for the Gem Award for Retail Excellence are Greenwich St. Jewelers, New York City; Sotheby’s, New York City; and Zadok Jewelers, Houston.
The late Steven Kaiser will also be honored posthumously with the Gem Award for Lifetime Achievement. Additional honorees will be announced soon. More information can be seen here.
