The Gemmological Association of Great Britain, or Gem-A, is working with Eric Emms FGA DGA Ltd. to provide gem and pearl testing at Gem-A’s Hatton Garden, London headquarters.
Eric Emms will operate under a license agreement to update and develop the testing services and to help to tie them in with Gem-A’s international educational and research aims.
The laboratory will trade under the name of The Gem Testing Laboratory of Great Britain. The necessary reequipping will take some weeks to complete and the date of full re-opening will be announced later.
