A sneak peek at just a few favorites bound for Vegas
If you’re one of the lucky badge holders to the exclusive opening of the JCK LUXURY show on May 31, you’re in for a real treat! (If not, no worries—JCK LUXURY opens to all badge holders of the JCK Las Vegas show on June 3!). As a matter of fact, even if you don’t plan to attend JCK Las Vegas at all, you’re still in for something special. I plan to make your Friday even better than it already is (because it’s Friday, obviously), by delighting you with these super-special jewelry brands and designers that you can find at the show (or, just get in touch with them—or me! I can help!—to stock in your store). There’s a long, important list of exhibitors that will make up the space of the show, but for today, here are just five. And if you think these look good, wait until you get a load of all the rest!
Yael Designs
It has become a tradition of mine (and I have many) to make sure that Yael is the first booth I visit when I enter the show floor. I can always expect to be dazzled with the newest designs and use of colorful gemstones such as fire opal, aquamarine, and blue zircon, and pearl, and it’s very well impossible to not leave with a smile on my face after spending some quality time with Yehouda. Some of the newest jewels you can expect to see, below.
Lava ring in 18k rose gold with 5.92 ct. fire opal and 0.52 ct. t.w. diamonds, $6,453
Moonstone collection drop earrings in 18k gold with 7.47 cts. t.w. moonstones, 1.8 cts. t.w. blue zircons, and 0.83 ct. t.w. diamonds, $10,006
Parade Design
Parade is well-known (and well revered) for its stunning bridal line, but it’s often Parade’s colored stone collections that I get most excited about. No matter what you’re looking for, you can bet Parade has something on display to check off that list. I very much look forward to having a look (and trying on) a great deal of beautiful things there.
Vintage-inspired engagement ring with a princess-cut diamond center (not included) and 0.33 ct. t.w. diamonds, $2,200
Parade in Color ring in 18k yellow and white gold with 21.29 ct. green tourmaline cabochon and 0.45 ct. t.w. diamonds, $13,575
Nature-inspired engagement ring in 18k white gold with 0.13 ct. t.w. diamonds, $1,825 (center stone not included)
Parade in Color pendant in white and rose gold with 7.88 ct. morganite and 0.28 ct. t.w. diamonds, $3,750
Engagement ring with 0.67 ct. t.w. diamonds, $3,400 (center stone not included)
Rahaminov
Rahaminov not only exhibits the most incredible diamonds, they actually let me try them on. Even just for a moment, I’m allowed live my dream of being a duchess drenched in all the royal jewels. I plan to check out the new Movál collection—a line of pieces created to celebrate oval-shape diamond cut—and I’m going to do my best to try on some of the largest diamonds I’ve ever seen in my life, because, why not?
Tutu mounting ring in platinum with 6.98 ct. oval diamond and 1.5 cts. t.w. carre-cut diamonds, price on request
Radiant diamond ring in 18k rose and yellow gold with 1.69 ct. fancy yellow-green diamond and 1.06 cts. t.w. fancy pink diamond melee, price on request
Oval drop earrings in 18k white gold 3.29 cts. t.w. diamonds, price on request
Dome ring in 18k yellow gold with 0.98 ct. t.w. diamonds, $9,000
Artistry, Ltd.
I always make it a point to swing by the Artistry booth, and when I do, I plan to stay for a while. The sheer variety of designs coupled with the brand’s charming team has me feeling quite at home, and they’re always very nice to let me overstay my welcome, no doubt. I’m hoping to get a look at these jewels while at the show this year, though I’m certain this is just a small example of what will be available.
Cabochon collection in 14k yellow gold with a 10 mm and 8 mm rutilated quartz, $650
Fancy-cut geometric ring in 14k white gold with 6 ct. amethyst and 0.45 ct. t.w. diamonds, $2,110
Plumeria pendant in 14k yellow gold with 0.14 ct. t.w. diamonds, $895
Arya Esha
Nevermind that designer Priyanka Murthy is one of the loveliest and most fun people I’ve had the privilege of meeting in the industry, but her jewels are simply, and ineloquently, kick-ass. Arya Esha was featured as a JCK Rising Star in 2015, and I found it damned impossible to get anywhere near Murthy and her creations at the time, due to the heavy inflow of traffic (and rightfully so!). Now showing in LUXURY, I plan to secure a visit before everyone else beats me to it. Me first! I called it!
Galaxy collection earrings in 18k recycled gold with 20.79 cts. t.w. citrine and 0.73 ct. t.w. diamonds, $5,074
Galaxy collection ring in 18k recycled white gold with 3 ct. carnelian and 0.49 ct. t.w. diamonds, $1,740
Galaxy collection Veera earrings in 18k recycled yellow gold with carnelian and garnet, $3,690
