LVMH-owned French jewelry brand Fred has named Vincent Reynes, a 20-year veteran of Bulgari, its new CEO.
Reynes will officially assume the role on Sept. 1, replacing Charles Leung, who has served as CEO of Fred since 2018. In November, Leung was named CEO of another LVMH jewelry brand, Chaumet. Bulgari is also owned by LVMH.
Most recently, Reynes was president and CEO of Bulgari Japan. He has also been Bulgari’s managing director for the Middle East and Asia, and before that, head of the company’s operations in the United Kingdom. From 2011 to 2014, he was head of its global brand image.
He will report Stéphane Bianchi, who was promoted to managing director of LVMH in March. Bianchi previously was CEO of LVMH’s watch and jewelry division.
The news of Reynes’ appointment first appeared in WWD.
