A substantial collection of vintage charms spanning the Victorian era through the 1980s is set to drop on Fox & Bond on Nov. 12. The Los Angeles–based e-tailer known for its giftable, cool-girl jewelry and one-of-a-kind antique lockets, necklaces, and engagement rings has spent the better part of the spring and summer sourcing an array of very special vintage pieces in preparation for the holidays, with charms playing a starring role in the assortment.
“Charms are a constant best seller for us,” says cofounder Sunny Bond. “We love them, and so do our clients. We spend so much time sourcing and curating to create the best collection we can. We buy what we’re drawn to and have faith our clients will feel the same way.”
Fox & Bond is a great example of a young company doing their part to make estate and vintage jewelry exceptionally trendy and desirable. All of the charms can be purchased on their own, on a 16- or 18-inch gold chain, on a hoop earring, or on a traditional charm bracelet (some great “naked” vintage options are available in Fox & Bond’s Charm Shop).
A charm jewelry trend to jump on if you’re amassing a collection: “Anything with enamel is always a crowd-pleaser with our clients,” says Bond.
Also hot: “Spinners and ‘action charms’ as we call them, like a pack of camels with cigarettes that pop out or garden shears that cut are teeny, tiny little precious treasures—in gold no less!” says Bond.
Here’s a sneak peek at some of the other vintage charms debuting on Monday.
