With significant additions to all nine of their most popular collections, Gabriel & Co. brought lots of newness with them to JCK Las Vegas 2018. There are jewelry styles to satisfy every taste and budget, making it easy to cherry-pick a few affordable finds to quickly round out your fall edit or to curate a selection of glamazons for clients on the gala circuit.
The brand is well-known for its breadth of options and ability to nimbly toggle back and forth between a range of trends and aesthetics. For example, it introduced delicate, flirty anklets to the Gaby collection; lightweight paper clip–link necklaces joined the two-tone, braid motif hallmarks of Hampton, and the Art Deco–influenced Art Moderne range added double-hinged baguette bracelets, tasseled elements, and more.
The limited-edition Amavida collection, the only range done in 18k gold, introduced 11 new designs, many of them perfect for those who aspire to red-carpet glamour. Standouts include super-chunky mega bands in 18k yellow gold detailed with diamonds and a “tennis” bracelet made of pointy pavé diamond components that drape over the wrist, delicate as fish bones or a fairy’s picket fence.
Plenty of us will develop a yen for dramatic diamond bangles and chokers after watching the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards on September 17, and these more than hit the spot.
