Eva Violante, a veteran of the Phillips and Heritage auction houses, has been named director of gemstone acquisition at Harry Winston, she announced on LinkedIn.
In her new role, Violante will head the retailer’s global procurement of diamonds and colored stones.
Violante worked at Phillips for the past six years, most recently as director of its Americas department.
Prior to Phillips, she served as Heritage Auctions’ fine jewelry director. She has also been senior international buyer for Circa, the pre-owned jewelry dealer, in New York City and Madrid.
