Effy takes inspiration from the angular designs of the Art Deco period and some 1970s motifs in its new Geo collection. The New York City–based manufacturer debuted the 50-piece line, made largely in 14k gold with a few silver styles, at the 2015 JCK Las Vegas show. Looks “play with negative space to create a collection that is uniquely elegant and trend-driven,” says director of marketing Mehran Ettesami. Diamonds and other precious stones like amethyst appear in the jewelry, which starts at $900 retail. The collection has just started shipping; a set buy-in currently does not exist.
