How long do you think I can keep up the theme of heart jewelry? If this industry keeps serving up such positively lovely styles, I’d say indefinitely. So you can guess where I’m going with this.
This time, a collection of heart jewelry comes from the New York–based Eden Presley.
Founded by designer Gwen Myers, Eden Presley (a combination of the names of Myers’ two daughters) boasts an intriguing array of gold and gemstone jewelry, utilizing a vast array of gems—from the beloved boulder opal to wonders of nature like spiny oyster turquoise, apatite, and chrysocolla.
Myers’ earrings in particular are works of art and true statement makers (many of her pieces literally make statements—the Mantra collection showcases word charms and more), but of course it’s anything and everything featuring a heart that mine is currently beating for.
“The heart as a symbol has always represented love,” says Myers. “During these unusual times, I think the heart motif resonates with people more than ever. We all need to give and show more love to ourselves and each other. It’s never been more obvious.”
It isn’t solely the heart icon represented throughout these pieces that should certainly be alluring to a wide range of shoppers. From an incorporation of the evil eye to memorable mantras, and an impeccable rainbow assortment of gemstones, there’s something here to keep the heart motif going strong all year long.
As for what to look out for going into the spring and summer? “I know I can’t stop making multicolored things,” says Myers. “I find myself gravitating toward bright, uplifting colors.” Here’s to a brighter future ahead.
