Edie Sedgwick has long been an icon, but I’ve noticed her style influence loud and clear in recent times. Miley Cyrus recently channeled Sedgwick’s slick blonde coif and shoulder-dusting earrings in the September 2015 issue of Marie Claire. Founder/editor of Rookie magazine Tavi Gevinson’s recent guest role on Scream Queens had her rocking a look that was part Sedgwick part Mia Farrow in Rosemary’s Baby (minus, like, the dealthy sick prego woman part). And this image (below) that she posted on Instagram is what really got me thinking about those shoulder-dusting, sphere-dangling earrings. I don’t have pom-pom ones to share with you (but if you know where she got those, please tell me because I must have them now). But I do have some very gorgeous fine jewelry examples that mimic the look in a sophisticated, timeless way—and they’re just perfect for New Year’s Eve.
