New York City auction house Doyle is set to host its Important Jewelry sale on Oct. 26 headlined by a Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. “collection from a prominent entertainment family,” along with other designer favorites.
“The collection of Tiffany’s Schlumberger is particularly exciting because there are examples of pieces and stones we rarely see at auction,” Doyle’s CEO Lauren Doyle tells JCK. “There is so much strength from American buyers at a moment when there is renewed interest in the Tiffany brand in the market.”
Doyle has hosted exhibitions for the sale at its galleries in Boston, Palm Beach, and Beverly Hills, with another scheduled for Oct. 18 at Doyle’s newest outpost, Charleston, S.C. These previews are “allowing us to share the New York auction experience nationally and to reach new buyers while connecting with existing ones in person,” says Doyle.
Many buyers, Doyle is happy to report, are women: “As a woman-led company, we are delighted to see continued enthusiasm from women purchasing for their own collections, highlighting the trust they place in the Doyle brand and our expertise.”
Below are a few highlights from the upcoming sale, which will have a preview exhibition in New York from Oct. 21 to 23.
