It was about a year ago that Roberto Coin released its Cinderella-inspired collection, a wonderfully understated line in collaboration with Disney that paid tribute to one of its most famous princesses.
As a Disneyphile, I don’t do much to downplay my complete obsession with most things from the House of Mouse—but I do love a good subtle reference as opposed to one that shouts out loud.
That’s exactly what Roberto Coin did with its Cinderella collection, and now its line of jewels inspired by Disney’s Frozen II is the latest to join the club.
Not only is the collection right on time for the film’s release, but it’s also in tune with the Thanksgiving holiday. In its pieces inspired by Anna, a lead character voiced by Kristen Bell, the line decorates elements of wheat in autumnal hues of orange and yellow sapphires and diamonds.
For those ready to let fall go (I’m sorry for the horrific “Let It Go” puns, but what kind of Disney fan would I be if I didn’t go there?), the collection’s Elsa-inspired jewels utilize elements of ice with diamond snowflakes and amethyst ice crystal necklaces. One of the sweetest touches is its mismatched snowflake earrings (above)—as no two snowflakes are alike, nor should the studs be.
And then, there’s Olaf. This beloved character looks as adorable as ever in pendant form, dangling from a Y-shape necklace topped with a diamond-accented snowflake (above). Pull the chain downward, and his nose moves—there are versions in snowy white enamel and in crisp, cold white gold. Our little summer-loving snow buddy is also available in a charm bracelet, complete with reindeer Sven.
The collection is available on robertocoin.com and at participating Roberto Coin retailers, including Saks Fifth Avenue.
