In partnership with JCK, Diamonds Do Good has announced the extension of its inaugural Diamonds Do Good Jewelry Awards, which will recognize members of this industry who have made charitable contributions an integral part of their business strategies. The new deadline for entry is June 30.
“During this time of uncertainty, the certainty of our industry’s good works remains steadfast,” said JCK and JCKonline.com editor-in-chief Victoria Gomelsky, in a statement. “Philanthropy has never been more important than it is now, during a time of crisis, and these submissions exemplify the very best in our trade,” added Gomelsky of the submissions seen to date.
To see submissions, visit DiamondsDoGood.com, Diamonds Do Good’s consumer-facing platform, as well as the organization’s social media channels. “We believe the sharing of these stories and encouragement of more submissions will inspire jewelers and consumers during this unparalleled time,” said Anna Martin, president of Diamonds Do Good and senior vice president of GIA.
The contest will remain open to manufacturers and/or retailers of fine jewelry featuring precious metals and/or natural diamonds until June 30. Winners of the contest, which will be decided by the JCK editorial team, will be featured in an issue of JCK magazine slated for later this year.
