Diamonds Do Good (DDG), which promotes how natural gems benefit local communities, has added Julia Hackman Chafé and Monica Elias to its board of directors.
Third-generation gemstone dealer Chafé (pictured at left) has become a leading jewelry content creator, with over 700,000 Instagram followers. Last year she achieved particular notoriety with her reports from the July wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. (She discussed her attendance at the Ambani wedding on JCK’s Jewelry District podcast.)
Elias, CEO of Elias World Media, has over two decades of experience as a video and film producer. She has won a Stevie Award for “Most Innovative Woman of the Year” and was named one of the “25 Luxury Women Leaders to Watch in 2025” by Luxury Roundtable.
Diamonds Do Good will hold its annual awards gala at the Venetian resort in Las Vegas on June 5, a day prior to the opening of the JCK show.
