Reuven Kaufman was elected president of the Diamond Dealers Club by the Club’s Board of Directors Sept. 28, following the resignation of past president Moshe Mosbacher.

Basant Johari remains vice president. Benny Simkhai was elected secretary, replacing Kaufman. Jacob Zupnick remains treasurer.

There is also a new chairman of the board, with Abraham Einhorn replacing Joseph Khafi.

“The new leadership pledged to have all Club members work together and to initiate the changes necessary for the organization to play a prominent role in the American and world diamond industries well into the future,” according to a Club statement.
