The Design Center at The JCK Show ~ Las Vegas presented The First Annual Designer Retailer Awards yesterday. M.H. Reinhold, San Juan, Puerto Rico, represented by Marie-Helene Morrow, was honored as Best Retailer. Five other retailers were given special recognition: Bernie Robbins Jewelers, Somers Point, N.J., represented by Harvey Rovinsky; Saks Fifth Avenue, New York, represented by Scott Martin; The Vault Gallery, Santa Cruz, Calif., represented by Joy Kilner; Tiny Jewel Box, Washington, D.C., represented by Jim Rosenheim; and YLANG 23, Dallas, represented by Joanne Teichman. Fifty other retailers also were honored for excellence in selling designer jewelry.
