De Beers Group has made three changes to its executive committee, promoting two longtime execs and luring its former general counsel back from majority owner Anglo American.
Neil Ventura, currently executive vice president, auction sales, will become executive vice president, strategy and innovation. He has been with De Beers since 1989.
Paul Rowley, currently executive vice president, global sightholder sales, is now executive vice president, diamond trading, overseeing both auction and sightholder sales. He joined De Beers in 1983 and became head of sightholder sales in 2014.
Alessandra Berridge (pictured), currently lead legal counsel for M&A at Anglo American, will become executive vice president, commercial and partnerships. She was previously De Beers Group general counsel from 2008 to 2013.
The three new appointments will take effect in February 2018.
