Members of the Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association
and the Diamond Dealers Club packed the DDC New York headquarters for
three PATRIOT Act compliance workshops in May.
“AML
compliance is required by law for our members,” said DDC President Moshe
Mosbacher,
in a statement.
Through an agreement with the club, TransGuardian has
developed a series of online wizards, which explain the Patriot Act
regulations
and generate a set of tools that allow dealers to become complaint.
TransGuardian’s online course is $699 for non-DDC members and $499 for
DDC
members.
Earlier this month the DDC
concluded
an agreement with TransGuardian, which allows members to ship
packages of diamond and jewelry at preferred rates.
