David Yurman has named Carolyn Dawkins (pictured) its new chief marketing officer.
Dawkins joins the jewelry designer from Estée Lauder, where she served as global chief marketing officer and senior vice president for Clinique. In that role, she led operational strategies for product marketing, consumer engagement, e-commerce, customer insights, and data analytics. Dawkins has also worked at Google, overseeing the BrandLab and Unskippable Experiments teams. She has also held brand marketing roles at L’Oréal, Procter & Gamble, Colgate, and Kellogg’s.
In her new role at David Yurman, Dawkins will be responsible for leading integrated marketing and cross-platform content strategies. She will also oversee the brand’s e-commerce business.
Dawkins’ appointment is part of president Evan Yurman’s continued plans expand the company’s executive team. In recent months, he’s appointed a chief operations officer, a chief of people and strategy, and promoted a company veteran to chief merchant and product officer.
