The West Coast Jewelry Show, to be held Sept. 9 and 10 at the the Anaheim Convention Center, has added two new persons to its staff: Caren Cotto and Emilia Irizarry.
Cotto joins the WCJS Exhibit space sales team as account executive with more than 10 years of jewelry industry experience. She served with Reed Exhibition Companies from 1998-2001, where she was sales executive on the JCK Shows, Luxury by JCK, and the AGS Conclave. Most recently, she held key positions at Strategic Events, Inc. and the InterGem Shows.
Irizarry, joins both WCJS and the California Jewelers Association as account executive, retailer recruitment, where she will maintain in-person, written, and phone contact with California retail jewelers to provide them with the information they need to attend WCJS, join CJA, or take advantage of CJA benefits.
Originally from the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Irizarry moved to California two years ago to attend the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad and upon graduation as a Graduate Gemologist decided to stay. She has been involved in both the jewelry wholesale as well as the jewelry retail sectors.
Prior to the WCJS, the Women’s Jewelry Association will hold its annual Women In The Know Conference on Sept. 8.
