Woo’s new Pixar-inspired styles will appeal to fans of ‘Finding Nemo’
Alex Woo’s latest line will be familiar to moms everywhere since it hails from the Disney-Pixar lineage. Enter Finding Dory, a sequel to the hit 2003 film Finding Nemo—and the name of Woo’s new collection.
Some 17 SKUs comprise the line made in sterling silver and 14k gold and diamonds, and retail prices start at $48. Woo’s Finding Dory–inspired jewelry is shipping now, ahead of the film’s June 17 release.
“I loved the movie Finding Nemo, and when given the opportunity to work with Disney-Pixar’s Finding Dory, I lept at the chance!” says Woo. “This sequel is the most anticipated movie of the summer, and it’s been an honor to be able to design a collection inspired by such iconic characters. I designed these pendants inspired by the lovable characters, Dory and Nemo, and the swimming fish in the logo of the ‘O’ from both films. The collection is playful, and I think these characters have touched the hearts of people all over the world for many years, so I wanted to capture that in a fine jewelry collection.”
In order to carry the Finding Dory collection, retailers must purchase at least one of each style—with a minimum of 12 pieces—and they will also receive a Disney-approved display card and packaging materials.
