Jewelry designer Graziela Kaufman of Graziela Gems taps into her Brazilian roots in a new collection of jewels dubbed Paraiba Obsession. It features—what else?—the renown Windex-blue-hued stones in opaque varieties with lovely brownish-red, black, and white expanses mixed with the stone’s signature blue hue. The resulting styles are one-of-a-kind due to unique patterns in each slab cut ,and they are offset with faceted apatite, rubies, and diamonds. Kaufman says she unveiled premier offerings—just six SKUs—for the holiday season but will expand selections in the spring. Each style is set in 18k gold, and retail prices range from $11,950 to $65,000. No buy-in exists because of the nature of the offerings (all one-offs).
