Claire’s Names New Exec VP and Chief Merchandising Officer

Claire’s Holdings has appointed Claudia Lima-Guinehut executive vice president and chief merchandising officer.

In her new role, Lima-Guinehut will lead the company’s global merchandising, sourcing, and design strategy as well as its signature piercing business. She will report to the company’s CEO, Ryan Vero, who joined Claire’s in 2019. The chain operates more than 2,300 stores in 17 countries throughout North America and Europe.

Prior to coming to Clarie’s, Lima-Guinehut served as senior vice president, global merchandising and strategic partnerships at the Children’s Place, where she created product strategies for brands across multiple channels and led operations for wholesale and international franchise businesses.

Before that, Lima-Guinehut was director of international merchandising for Destination Maternity from 2011 until 2014. She has also worked at Zara, Camuto Group, Ralph Lauren, and Fifth & Pacific Companies. She earned her B.S. in marketing from New York University and an MBA from Columbia University.
