The Canadian Jewellers Association (CJA) has announced the appointment of Marco Miserendino as the new chairman of the CJA board of directors for 2018–2019.
Miserendino is the vice president, managing director, and co-owner (along with his sister Paola Miserendino) of Bijouterie Italienne, a fine jewelry store in Montreal.
The jewelry professional studied accounting and business management at the University of Quebec in Montreal. He recently become a CRJ title holder of the American Gem Society and is also an Independent Jewelers Organization Master Jeweler.

The Canadian Jewellers Association has been Canada’s national jewelry trade association since 1918. The organization strives to match consumers with jewelry retailers and appraisers and to support the industry through advocacy and education.
CJA members adhere to a code of ethics that includes the dispensation of a written guarantee to every consumer that every diamond sold is conflict-free.
