Online watch marketplace Chrono24 has named Carsten Keller as its new CEO, effective Jan. 1.
Keller previously worked at Zalando, an online platform for fashion and luxury, where he founded its Connected Retail venture. Prior to that, he spent 12 years at McKinsey & Company.
At Chrono24, Keller will take over from current co-CEOs Holger Felgner and Tim Stracke, who will remain shareholders and board members. Stracke, the business’ founder, will continue as board chairman.
“While the decision hasn’t been easy, Holger and I always knew that we would eventually need to find a successor to lead Chrono24 into the next phase of growth,” Stracke said in a statement.
Recent investors in the company include General Atlantic, Insight Partners, Sprints Capital, Bernard Arnault’s Aglaé Ventures, and soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo.
