New York City–based jewelry brand Christopher Designs has named Michael O’Connor chief marketing officer.
O’Connor will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of the company’s marketing, advertising, and public relations functions, as well as the development of new business and sales channels.
O’Connor’s experience spans more than three decades in the jewelry industry. For the past eight years he has been president of Style & Substance, working with brands such as Platinum Guild International, The Couture Show, Baume & Mercier, and Rio Tinto Diamonds. He has also served as senior vice president of Platinum Guild International, vice president of Goldstein Communications, and director of corporate marketing for Frederick Goldman.
