New York City–based Christopher Designs has appointed industry veteran Ann Kim to be its vice president of sales for the West Coast region, where she will spearhead the brand’s sales in that area.
Kim has previously worked for jewelry companies Scott Kay, David Yurman, John Hardy, Ritani, and Verragio. In her new position with Christopher Designs, Kim will be responsible for growing distribution and sales volume in her territory.
“I’m thrilled to be working with Christopher Designs,” said Kim in a statement. “I have a passion for the industry and love the independent retail jewelry distribution channel.”
Kim has also worked for Nordstrom and Bobbi Brown cosmetics, a division of Estée Lauder companies. She is a graduate of the University of California San Diego and has a degree in management science and psychology.
Kim is just one of a number of hires made recently by Christopher Designs, which was founded and is headed by designer Christopher Slowinski. In February it appointed Margaret Becker vice president of sales. And in May, it appointed Leigh-Ann Brown as vice president of sales for the mid-southern United States.
