Inside Christie’s La Dolce Vita Jewelry And Watch Sale

Everybody loves a little dolce vita. And Christie’s Milan is giving everyone a chance to feel like they’re living it through its online jewelry and watch sale La Dolce Vita. Beginning Tuesday and running through March 10, the sale is chock-full of gems. The items include a 25 carat diamond ring, a sapphire and ruby choker, a vintage Patek Philippe watch, and a discontinued Rolex, so there’s something for everyone. See a few highlights below, and check out the sale for many more pieces that channel that a luxurious lifestyle.

Antique diamond ring

With a seemingly straightforward design, this vintage ring excels in its size—at more than 25 carats, it’s certainly a statement piece. Engagement ring, anyone?

Art deco diamond bracelet

Mimicking the architectural elements of the period, this 1930 art deco bracelet connects geometric shapes with delicate, round links. Plus, it dazzles in circular- and baguette-cut diamonds.

Featuring a mix of emerald- and circular-cut diamonds, Capri designer Chantecler’s diamond signet rings are more contemporary designs from the 2000s. Both are available in a U.S. ring size 6, and they come in the original box.

Made in 1980, Marina B’s piece is on-trend yet again as chokers now as popular as ever. This particular one incorporates cabochon-cut sapphires and a center ruby cabochon, and its interior is almost as interesting to look at its exterior.

This antique diamond ring spotlights a layered, contrast design with the addition of sweet elements such as the side bow decorations. It’s available in a U.S. ring size 8.

Patek Philippe ref 460 watch

A piece that takes you back in time (to 1929, when it was created), Patek Philippe’s pink gold watch with a silvered dial is a classic style. The strap, however, is made from endangered species and will be removed and replaced upon its sale.

Rolex GMT Master ref 16710 watch

Affectionately known as the Rolex Coke due to its red and black bezel, this GMT Master II (which was discontinued in 2007) will certainly have the attention of watch collectors around the world. Produced in 1997, it features a stainless steel 40 mm case, black dial, and automatic movement.
