Caryl Capeci, former CEO of Chow Tai Fook North America, has been named senior vice president for fine jewelry and watches at Starboard Cruise Services.
Starboard, an LVMH company, operates retail services on more than 90 cruise ships worldwide.
Capeci joined Starboard as a strategic adviser earlier this year. She has 30 years of jewelry experience. Prior to joining Starboard, she was CEO of Chow Tai Fook North America, which owns jewelry brands Hearts on Fire and Mémoire. Before that, she worked on the De Beers account at J. Walter Thompson and the Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises accounts as an executive vice president at Havas/Arnold.
In conjunction with Capeci’s promotion, Starboard veteran Benito Mendez was appointed senior vice president of merchandising and planning.
