Cadar Names Jean Poh CEO

Share

Gold and diamond jewelry brand Cadar has appointed Jean Z. Poh (pictured) as its new CEO.

Prior to this appointment, Poh, whose father owned a jewelry manufacturing company, was the founder and CEO of Swoonery, the jewelry e-tail site. She will remain CEO of that site, in addition to her new role, she tells JCK.

Before that, she was a corporate attorney who worked in New York City and Shanghai, focusing primarily on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital transactions. She holds a B.A. from Barnard College of Columbia University, a J.D. from Cornell Law School, and a degree from the Gemological Institute of America.

In 2017, Poh was named one of Luxury Daily’s Luxury Women to Watch.

“Jean’s knowledge and passion for the fine jewelry industry, coupled with her strategic vision for the brand, will enable us to take Cadar to new heights,” said Michal Kadar, founder and creative director of Cadar, in a statement.
