If these lines from New York brand Cadar aren’t the perfect accessories for the holidays, then nothing is.
Fusing a very versatile, very wearable, and very gorgeous array of jewels with a healthy dose of glitz and glam, they’re the low-maintenance, high-impact pieces to give and get this season, perfect for the dressiest designer sweatsuit (because we want to look and feel good, but don’t even think about jeans in 2020).
I’m particularly in awe of the earrings. Slinky lines of hearts and feathers move like a kite’s tail, studs sparkle with a glittering array of diamonds, and hoops take on a range of shapes and silhouettes. I adore the heart earrings the most—they remind me of a paper garland that decorates the mantle at Valentine’s Day (the earrings I refer to above are not, however, a part of the two collections that make up the bulk of this post).
But it isn’t only earrings that Cadar does well. The brand, a relative newcomer established in 2015, offers a beautiful lineup of bracelets, necklaces, and rings—in addition to a pretty sweet assortment of men’s pieces—most in glistening yellow gold but some in soft white, each style one that you want to wear all the time and with everything.
Two of the most recently updated lines are Bloom and Light: the first, a gathering of golden petals in curvaceous floral finds; the second, a minimalist representation of the stars, sun, and moon, using six diamonds to represent a star, twelve diamonds the sun, and pavé diamonds the moon.
Again, Bloom and Light represent just two of the collections offered by the jewelry brand, founded by designer Michal Kadar. While each line differs wonderfully from the other, they both have that covetable, wearable feel about them that quite frankly makes it difficult to choose between the two.
