Nine pieces that will fly right out of your showcases
It’s amazing what a beautiful piece of jewelry will do to you. Take me, for instance: I have this bee ring that I absolutely love to wear—a costume piece, but it brings me joy nonetheless. I admire the little creature on my finger, sparkling with black stones, its wings stretched across my hand. But boy do I run the other way if a real bee tries to join my picnic. In my defense, my ring would never sting me, but still. It’s something that I’ve always felt a little weird and hypocritical about. So while I try to cope with that (and put on a brave face for the sake of the bees), I’d be happy to have everyone—bug-averse and otherwise—join me in celebrating just how splendid this insect-inspired jewelry is. Sure, it’s mostly composed of butterflies (and who would run away from a butterfly IRL?), but what each lacks in ferociousness, it more than makes up for in whimsy. Enjoy (and stock!).
