Nicolas Luchsinger has been appointed CEO of Italian jewelry company Buccellati, effective April 2.
Luchsinger is currently president for the Asia-Pacific region of Van Cleef & Arpels—which, like Buccellati, is owned by Richemont. He’s spent over 10 years at Van Cleef & Arpels, and previously worked at Christie’s for nearly a decade.
Current Buccellati CEO Gianluca Brozzetti, who’s led the company for the past 10 years, will remain a director in Buccellati Holding Italia SPA, with the title of executive vice president. He will retain direct responsibility for manufacturing and continue as the jeweler’s representative to industry associations.
A statement credited Brozzetti with making Buccellati into a global player in jewelry and silver. The company was purchased by Richemont in 2019.
