We are on a big safari kick here in the Siminitz household, thanks to our daughter’s obsession with all things lion, zebra, and giraffe. And with our little one about to turn 2, I think I’ve found the perfect birthday present for her to grow into: a bracelet from Belle Étoile.
I have a few pieces from the sterling and enamel brand myself, and I love how wonderfully wearable they are, how their colorful presence makes me feel good to see and to don as well. The line’s affordability really does make it perfect for all ages, and the company’s wide range of styles means there’s something in it for everyone.
While the Serengeti bracelet might appeal to a younger customer base (who among them doesn’t love a brightly colored animal scene?), who knows—perhaps a more mature crowd would also fancy this striking jungle arrangement. Come to think of it, this would play nicely with some of the wild-animal prints trending on the fashion scene as of late—giving a muted leopard or snake print a kiss of color.
With a black background of enamel (shown at top), the leafy picture of a wild gathering—cheetah, snake, giraffe, zebra, monkey, and a couple of fine-feathered friends—really pops. The style is also available in a softer white background, a glossier look that would be chic on its own or in a group.
Or, for a full-fledged menagerie, opt for Belle Étoile’s matching earring and rings of the same design, with scarf-like stud earrings and mirroring diamond-shape pendant, plus a wide, cigar band–style ring. With each piece retailing at $600 and under, shoppers can afford to opt for the full suite. Go wild.
