Britt’s Pick: Rebecca Hook’s Disney-fied Lace Bracelet

Everyone who knows me well (and even not so well), knows that if something involves Disney, I’m all over it. That’s why I was wildly thrilled when Rebecca Hook notified me of some very special creations, sprinkled with a little helping of pixie dust, at her booth this year at JCK Las Vegas. What I found when I got there was really, really exciting—and I’m sure not just for me. The jewelry designer is lending her special touch to a number of jewels you’ll be able to find throughout the Disney Parks and on Disney Cruise Line, and I was privy to a peek at some new ones (which I can’t share quite yet, sorry!). One that I did fall in love with though, is for sale now on the ships of Disney Cruise Line. The Lace collection cuff bracelet, an original design from one of Hook’s older collections, was given a Disney-style makeover with the addition of Mickey’s famous mouse-eared silhouette tucked into its ornate, beaded swirls. What I love most about the entire line is that the designer never loses herself, and Disney plays but a subtle part in each of the jewels. Hook’s taking her already-beloved collections and swaddling them in just a touch of Disney magic. It’s exactly how I like to wear my mouse ears on a daily basis: stylishly subtle (though my love for Disney is anything but subtle, I know).
