I had thought of finding the most incredible peridot for an August edition of Britt’s Pick, but Rahaminov has me making other plans.
The month is young, so we can still celebrate its birthstone, but if one is served up a tantalizing tanzanite on a golden platter—or ring, more specificially—well, then one writes about said tantalizing tanzanite.
Tanzanite is the birthstone for December, and it really isn’t that far-fetched that we start thinking about the holiday season. Even if we haven’t said goodbye to summer yet (let’s enjoy just a bit longer!), never the matter—tanzanite is plenty relevant now, too. Just look at that dreamy color: Are we ever not pining for its purplish blue? This particular tanzanite, a crystal clear cabochon of 11.72 carats, has a softness to it that rivals the most beautiful summer hues, gleaming gloriously from its golden home.
A ring for all seasons, it’s part of Rahaminov’s Twin Bezel collection, a name that describes the two frames of gold that hug the oval center stone. The metal is thick and hefty, a style consumers have continued to enjoy, and while the look hits all the notes of current demand, it’s also timeless—a promising heirloom providing a dash of color for future generations.
Rahaminov might be best known for its exquisitely eye-catching array of diamond jewelry, but its growing offering of colored gemstones is vibrant and exciting. The Twin Bezel collection is available in a range of categories and gems (including diamond engagement rings—check out this stunner), and it’s today’s tanzanite that’s standing bright.
