Aptly named, this ring explodes with color
Jane Taylor was one of the first jewelers I wrote about in my early days with JCK, along with a handful of others (who all remain favorites, still). I fell in love with the mother-daughter duo and their candy-color aesthetic, and it’s only gotten better. If the faces behind the brand are like sunshine (which, they are), they serve to illuminate the jewelry they create, making each piece that much more colorful. Case in point: this power-packed ring. I say power-packed, because, in theory, it’s a fairly simple design, but the sum of its parts is a color punch to the face (seriously, doesn’t it kinda look like it’s giving you a fist bump?), in the most elegant, wonderful way. Hey, it is called the Fireworks ring—an apt name for its explosive color combination of purple tourmaline, salmon-pink tourmaline, and blue topaz. Very little metal—well-chosen in yellow gold—provides an anchor for the geometric trio, letting the colors and shapes shine on their own in this fantastical one-of-a-kind creation.
