Britt’s Pick: Eden Presley’s Only Love Ring

Share

I sit here writing this as snow continues to fall in northern Virginia, piling high all around the house. Two kiddos sip hot chocolate on the couch, snuggled under blankets, embarking via television on an adventure through the world of Mario and Luigi. Today would have been the first day of school post–winter break, but the storm did away with all notions of back-to-school.

Christmas decorations have been stored away, all presents played with and put on shelves. The only remnants of the holiday that linger are the chorus of coughs echoing through the house, courtesy of the one gift that keeps on giving this time of year: the flu. To preserve a shred of sanity, I do what much of the jewelry industry does—look forward to the next big event.

That would be Valentine’s Day. As retailers review their holiday sales and analyze what worked and what didn’t, they also prepare for a rush of shoppers seeking just the right gift to give their loved one on Feb. 14.

I love a good piece of heart jewelry all day, every day—from January through December—but their abundance is hard to ignore (or resist) this time of year. And as heart jewels flock to my inbox, I’m enchanted with all sorts of necklaces, earrings, rings, and bracelets loaded with gemstones and diamonds—enough to fill every Britt’s Pick through Valentine’s Day, and then some. So I’ll do just that: a heart each week now through Valentine’s Day, to fill the first month and a half of 2025 with love.

To kick off the year, here’s a heart, Eden Presley’s Only Love ring, that both warms and cools—with its symbol of the winter season’s romantic holiday and a soothing summery color combination. Pictured with a chrysocolla center (but also available with lapis, malachite, mother-of-pearl, tiger’s eye, pink opal, or black onyx), the heart is framed in two dimensions of turquoise and opal, the most beautiful mixture of gems.

The ring is a statement, for sure (you can see how it looks on the finger on the brand’s website), but one that could be worn daily. Its color scheme ensures the ring would go with almost anything, and its peaceful vibes make it so you’ll never want to take the ring off.
