This week’s Britt’s Pick comes from the wonderful Belle Brooke Designs of Santa Fe, N.M. The Constellation ring combines so many elements that I love into one neat little package, easily earning it a spot at the top of the holiday wish list.
You can’t talk about this ring without first mentioning its diamonds: With a color scheme reminiscent of autumn leaves, they’re wonderfully festive and also very versatile. Natural in color and showcasing honeyed hues as well as cognac and coffee ones too, they’ll keep sparkling year-round alongside any sweater or sundress.
The diamonds are rimmed in oxidized sterling silver bezels, a nice contrast to the luscious brushed yellow gold form of the ring. The negative space blurs the line between delicate and bold, inviting the piece to wrap gently around the finger, but doing so with thick, ribbony lines of golden metal that feels more substantial.
Since it’s important to feel good about looking good, it’s nice to know that Belle Brooke’s designs are responsibly made with recycled materials and ethically sourced stones and assembled by a skilled hand in the designer’s studio.
This is one of the more streamlined pieces from the brand—designer Belle Brooke Barer’s signature show of bubbles present—but in a way that’s less intricate (but no less delightful). Tiny circles are a hallmark of Barer’s work, a symbol of harmony that keeps its wearer grounded no matter which design they choose.
Belle Brooke will be showcasing a roster of must-see designs at February’s JCK Tucson show, which, believe it or not, is pretty much just around the corner. Expect to be wowed—and plan for some new additions to your showcases.
