Britt’s Pick: Arya Esha’s Carnelian Lava Pendant

Orange is another one of those colors that we’re sort of unfair to (or at least I am). It seems to be really high in demand during the summer and fall months, but ignored the other half of the year. It’s a juicy wonder paired with pink when the temps are high, and around October and November…well, orange just comes with the territory.

But Arya Esha‘s Lava collection pendant proves that orange is wonderful year-round, surrounding its center 2.21 ct. carnelian in a flurry of champagne diamonds that lend an earthy aesthetic to an otherwise very glam design. The beautiful contrast is furthered by its blackened metal setting and zigzagging lines (they remind me of peering through a kaleidoscope!). Overall the pendant has a floral aesthetic—which, if you’ll recall, is totally cool for fall. I couldn’t possibly think of an ocassion for which this lively piece wouldn’t be appropriate! Whether it’s new autumn adornment, a just-because self-purchase, or even a holiday gift, this pendant is a must.
