Britt’s Pick: Annoushka’s Rainbow Marguerite Bracelet

Share

June is Pride Month, resplendent with rainbow everything from fashion to foods to—the reason we’re here—jewelry.

As rainbows celebrate and honor the festivities of June, they also exemplify the carefree, colorful days of summer. I especially love a fine jewelry piece done up in bright and bubbly rainbow gemstones.

Annoushka’s latest edition of its popular Marguerite design is a lively example of such a treat, playful but serious in style and stature.

At its simplest, Marguerite is a tennis bracelet that fulfills the demand driven by the current craze over the silhouette—tennis fashion is having a major moment and it’s never complete without the timeless bracelet style. While traditionally featuring diamonds, tennis bracelets have evolved to include a wide range of gemstones, with a rainbow assortment like this offering the most enticing helpings of hue.

But it’s the setting of this bracelet that really sets it apart, taking its name from the marguerite (French for daisy), as flower petal-esque edges decorate the cups that hold each gemstone. The wildflower-inspired design reflects the London-based brand’s experience of a quintessential British summer in the countryside, rich with wildflowers and fresh open air.

Annoushka’s Marguerite collection was designed as a modern bridal jewelry line, with necklaces, bracelets, and earrings ideal for wedding-day wear. There are also a number of engagement rings rounding out the collection, defined by that beautifully scalloped cup that wraps around the center stone (or stones). While the new rainbow addition featured here would certainly provide a splash of color (and the traditional something blue) for wedding-day wear, it’s a fantastic fashion piece for any jewelry wearer seeking a lively addition to their collections, to wear for Pride (or with pride).
