Zack Kramer (pictured), who served as Brilliant Earth’s president for a little more than a year, left the company in April, according to his LinkedIn profile.
He is now the chief operating officer of Pendrell, an intellectual property, advisory services, and asset management firm, the profile said.
Kramer tells JCK he left Brilliant Earth because he’d received a “a great opportunity for a locally based company here in Santa Barbara. I continue to believe that Brilliant Earth is a wonderful company, very well positioned in the market to do great things.”
Kramer joined San Francisco–based Brilliant Earth in March 2021, shortly before the company filed for an IPO last August.
Prior to Brilliant Earth, Kramer was vice president and general manager of audio brand Sonos. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Brilliant Earth declined comment. Cofounder Beth Gerstein remains its CEO.
