Fine jewelry company Brilliant Earth Group Inc. has added two new executives to its leadership team, aiming these new hires at growth-oriented areas of the business including consumer experience, store expansion, and supply chain.
The publicly traded company said Aug. 26 it has added Pamela Catlett as chief brand officer and Sharon Dziesietnik as chief operations officer.
In a statement, Brilliant Earth said these appointments “underscore the company’s focus on continuing to drive long-term growth and build operational excellence.”
“I am proud to announce the promotions of Pam and Sharon, who are integral parts of our organization,” said Beth Gerstein, CEO and cofounder of Brilliant Earth, said in a statement. “During their tenures, we have made significant strides in advancing operational excellence and have witnessed strong brand growth.
“Their contributions and leadership are pivotal to our continued success, and I look forward to their continuing work to further our mission of transforming the jewelry industry,” Gerstein added.
The chief brand officer role supervises Brilliant Earth’s brand strategy across all of its consumer business, including store-growth strategy, evolving the company’s omnichannel experience, and boosting Brilliant Earth’s reach as a fine jewelry brand, the company said.
Catlett joined Brilliant Earth in 2023 and previously served as president and COO of Outdoor Voices, an athleisure clothing brand that recently closed its store locations in favor of online retail. She also was global head of women’s and youth at Under Armour and held multiple positions at Nike, including vice president and general manager of Nike’s North American women’s business and vice president of investor relations.
Additionally, Catlett served as an advisor to numerous founders and CEOs through her prior work as a consultant, offering insights on topics ranging from designing growth and brand strategies to team development and executive leadership, Brilliant Earth said.
The chief operations officer will head Brilliant Earth’s overall operations, including its end-to-end supply chain from sourcing to showrooms to distribution. This new role will drive the company’s expansion and operational scaling.
Dziesietnik joined Brilliant Earth in 2012 and has held a number of roles at the company, most recently as its senior vice president for customer operations. In these roles at Brilliant Earth, the company’s sales team has grown to more than 400 people serving nearly 40 of its showrooms nationwide.
Her LinkedIn profile shows that Dziesietnik previously worked as a senior support manager for Naehas Inc. and as a senior six sigma change analyst for Bank of America.
At Brilliant Earth, Dziesietnik also has held roles responsible for developing and implementing Brilliant Earth’s operational strategy with processes and systems, using the company’s agile supply chain, asset-light model, and technology.
Headquartered in San Francisco and Denver, Brilliant Earth had 2023 full-year revenue of $446 million and 12 consecutive quarters of positive adjusted EBITA since its initial public offering in 2021. Gerstein and Eric Grossberg founded Brilliant Earth in 2005.
