Bonhams has appointed Leslie Roskind (pictured) as a senior industry specialist for jewelry. She will be based in the auction house’s New York City office.
Roskind has worked in the jewelry industry for more than 25 years. She most recently worked at Fred Leighton and Windsor Jewels.
Prior to that she worked at Christie’s for 17 years in its New York City, Los Angeles, and Geneva offices. At Christie’s, she was involved in the now-legendary 2011 sale of Elizabeth Taylor’s jewelry.
Roskind is a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America and a member of the American Society of Jewelry Historians.
