In Paris, Bonhams is presenting a preview today and tomorrow of jewelry and other luxury items up for auction in several highly anticipated sales.
The preview at Paris’ Grand Palais includes highlights from Bonhams’ online and live Paris Jewels auctions, as well as vintage high-end automobiles in its prestigious Les Grandes Marques du Monde à Paris auction (Feb. 6) and a curated selection of timepieces, haute couture, and Hermès handbags.
Bonhams’ Paris Jewels online sale continues until Feb. 12; the live auction will take place on April 24. Among the pieces on exhibit are a rivière necklace with a graduating line of brilliant-cut diamonds, an art deco diamond clip brooch (pictured at top), and an exceptional claw-set blue sapphire ring.

The Grand Palais preview also features several remarkable Chaumet pieces, spanning from geometric designs of the art deco era to bold 1970s jewels and including a rare turquoise- and coral-studded gold hand mirror with aventurine handle.

With the Grand Palais show, and the auctions themselves, Bonhams offers collectors and luxury fans an exclusive opportunity to experience the world of high jewelry, with its gorgeous gemstones and masterful craftsmanship.
