Share

On Dec. 9, Bonhams is hosting its final New York Jewels sale of 2024. Composed of 195 lots, it includes pieces boasting an abundance of colored stones—emeralds, rubies, sapphires, and beyond, alongside plenty of diamonds, of course—from houses including Cartier, Tiffany & Co., David Webb, and more. Leading the sale with an estimate between $350,000 and $550,000 is a Tiffany & Co. ring with a 9.27 ct. emerald-cut emerald flanked by two trapezoid-shaped diamonds.

“We are privileged to present a delightful collection of signed jewels with colorful and vivid gemstones together with several impressive single-owner collections in our final New York Jewels sale of the year,” said Caroline Morrissey, Bonhams’ director and head of jewelry in New York, said in a statement. “It is wonderful to be offering jewels which are old and new, from all colors of the spectrum, some of which are ordinary and some which are extraordinary. Notable pieces include two striking emerald rings featuring fine quality stones of 13.48 carats and 9.27 carats; both jewels have exceptional craftsmanship and will appeal to jewelry connoisseurs.”
