Online jewelry retailer Blue Nile launched an updated mobile
shopping application available for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. It is
available for free from Apple’s App Store at itunes.com/appstore.
Updates to the app, which accepts currency from more than 40 countries, include an enhanced engagement ring shopping platform and access
to the company’s full jewelry line.
It also allows consumers to shop by product type such as
diamonds, gemstones, and pearls.
Blue Nile first launched its app in April
2010. The app now drives 25 percent of the company’s traffic.
