Blue Nile has appointed Jason Moss (pictured) as its new chief operating officer, one of a flurry of appointments the company just announced.
Moss previously worked as digital marketing director for Amazon Web Services. Prior to that, Moss served as general manager and chief marketing officer for Avvo, the legal site, and vice president, general manager, for Expedia, the travel site. He joined Blue Nile in January, according to LinkedIn.
The Seattle-based company has also appointed Ben Abitbol as senior vice president of supply chain. Prior to coming on board in March, Abitbol spent 13 years at Timex Group, eventually rising to senior vice president, supply chain.
In addition, in March 2020, the company appointed Dominique Bourgault as its chief financial officer. Before working at Blue Nile, Bourgault served as chief financial officer for the retail business units at Expedia Group. He replaced Bill Koefoed at Blue Nile.
Anita Natarajan joined Blue Nile in May 2020 as senior vice president of international, to oversee the e-tailer’s global outreach, which now includes over 40 companies. She plans to focus particularly on China.
She most recently headed the global airports business at Uber. Prior to that, Natarajan was vice president of sales operations at A Place for Mom, formerly headed by current Blue Nile CEO Sean Kell.
Camille Cleveland joined the e-tailer in March 2020 as senior vice president and general counsel. Prior to joining Blue Nile, she also worked at A Place for Mom, as senior vice president and general counsel.
Blue Nile just opened its 10th brick-and-mortar store at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles on April 9.
